This intersection of Amager Boulevard and Klaksvigsgade in Copenhagen, Denmark, has the following features:
1. A bike through lane
2. A bike right-turn lane
3. An automobile right-turn lane
4. Signals for automobile drivers, and signals for bicyclists

Why? Separating the different vehicles and especially their movements creates a safer transportation systsem.

Outside the Castello Sforzesco and near the Milano Cardona train station, where I arrived from a short trip from Como.

I really like the lens flare.

Notice the crosswalk signal.

Also notice how close to the tram these people are waling. The tram was not moving at the time and moved away from them when it departed this stop. But this helps show how normal it is for Europeans to walk in, around, amongst large trains.
